🌿 Introducing our newest beer, Botanical Equati

🌿 Introducing our newest beer, Botanical Equation Golden Ale with foraged flora!🍻✨ At @shirehoundfarms, a popular saying during springtime is "eat your enemies." This adage primarily refers to the invasive garlic mustard found on the farm, as Southwest Ohio is brimming with various invasive species, some of which are surprisingly edible. As spring unfolds, a profusion of floral plants bursts forth, making their way into delectable meals, teas, cocktails, and more.

Drawing inspiration from this saying, Botanical Equation was carefully designed with honeysuckle as a central theme. To craft one of the Botanical Equation variants, a generous amount of honeysuckle flowers was foraged from the farm's surroundings. While bee balm can be an aggressive spreader and some individuals might view walnut trees unfavorably, Shire Hound Farms perceives them differently. Instead of enemies, they are valued additions that contribute to the exceptional quality of Botanical Equation, thanks to their abundance.

Come and join us for a green-fingered event! 🌿 The Mt. Healthy Renaissance Project is excited to host the 10th Annual FREE Plant Swap, and you're invited! 🎉

Here's how it works:

1. Bring your plants in containers or plastic bags, and be sure to label them with the plant name and preferred growing conditions (sun, shade, part sun), and a brief description of what it is and where it grows best (bloom color, time of year they bloom, etc).
2. Place your plants in the designated location for shade, sun, part shade, vegetable, herb, seeds, houseplants, or gardening equipment. Our volunteers will be there to help you with this.
3. "Shopping" for plants will begin at 12pm for everyone who has brought something to swap.
4. At 1pm, shopping will be open to anyone who would like plants for their homes but wasn't able to bring anything to swap.

We kindly suggest a $3 donation for the Mt. Healthy Renaissance Project. Let's get our green thumbs ready and have a blast swapping plants! 🌱🌷
